I grew up in Dayton, Ohio and have one older sister. Growing up I was always active and played sports such as softball, swimming, golf and soccer. I chose to go to Calvin College here in Grand Rapids, Michigan and studied Elementary Education, Health Education and Math.
Since college I married my husband, Ben, and we have one dog, Chico, who is a chocolate lab. I have always enjoyed playing many sports. My husband and I enjoy training for triathlons and other races--what a thrill!
One of my favorite things to do in the summer is going to the beach in Grand Haven with my husband and Chico--he loves the water! I also look forward to going to see my family in Ohio. I am very close with them and I miss them very much! I have two nephews, Bradley and Luke, whom I adore!
